Oxford Poverty Action Coalition

The Oxford Poverty Action Coalition is a group of community members who want to see change. Formed in response to community interest, the groups mission is “to strive toward eliminating poverty by increasing awareness and sensitivity to the needs of those affected by poverty and to advocate for positive social, economic, and political change in a manner that is empowering and inclusive.”

We aim to create a safe atmosphere, where everyone’s voices are equal. We help to form links and partnerships between those affected by poverty, service providers, and all levels of government.
